The number of emergency situations in Dagestan dropped by 37.5% in 2011, compared with 2010. A total of 15 emergency situations were registered in 2011, RIA Dagestan reports.
There were 9 technical and 5 terrorist emergencies. 207 people were injured in emergency situations in 2011, compared with 254 in 2010. 56 of them died in 2011, 63 in 2010. 10 of them were children. 51 people were saved (187 in 2010). Property damage exceeded 155 million rubles.
