Kazakh police have started operating in a strict security regime. The regime will stay in place from January 10 to January 20 until the elections end, police spokesman Nurdild Oraz said, Kazinform reports.
He clarified that there will be enforced Rubezh road police patrols, more active checks of vehicles for weapons and illegal items. The police will increase the number of patrols to keep public order and prevent violations.
