The former head of the Karabulak Municipal Department of the Interior, Ilez Nalgiyev, has been hospitalized after an explosion at his courtyard in Ingushetia, RIA Novosti reports.
Nalgiyev is currently accused of exceeding his authority and extortion.
This is not the first case of an attack on police in Ingushetia. Beksultan Khamkhoyev, a member of the Russian Economic Crime Department of the North Caucasian Federal District, was shot in Nazran on Thursday. He was hospitalized.
