The Trans-Caucasus highway connecting South Ossetia and Russia has been blocked by an avalanche, South Ossetian Emergencies Minister Anatoly Bibilov said, Res reports.
Bibilov clarified that the road was closed on January 15 at 7.30 pm. The road is being cleared. The South Ossetian section of the highway has been cleared of snow, the minister adds.
