Police officers in the Novokhushetsky District of Dagestan were attacked last night, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
Unidentified assailants opened fire at a police car at the Novokhushet Village at about 10 pm. The police chief and his driver jumped out of the car and opened counter fire. The assailants left the scene.
