20 convicts of the Nubarashen prison sentenced for life plan to start a strike tomorrow unless their demands will be considered, News Armenia reports.
The convicts prepared three letters to the president, offices of the EU and Red Cross. They demand their cases to be reconsidered with account of amendments to the Armenian Criminal Code, making their imprisonment last 15-20 years.
They said that 20 more prisoners would join their strike unless their demands are considered.
