Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will observe the bridge over River Psou, which will connect Russia and Abkhazia, Yuga.ru reports.
The president will be assisted by Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov. The governor said on twitter that thousands of people were expecting the opening, easing border crossing.
