The Arbitrary Court of Dagestan will consider the lawsuit of Forbes Media LLC, publisher of the Forbes Journal, against Neftyanik, a non-commercial partner of fuel stations, on February 9 for illegal use of trademark, RIA Novosti reports.
Neftyanik published a special release of Forbes in August 2011, entitled “How to multiply your business in Dagestan?”. The release was followed by a lawsuit for illegal use of the trademark.
The case was halted on November 8, 2011. The lawsuit sum was increased from 1.4 million rubles to 2.8 million rubles. The claimant demands a band for all copies of the journal released illegally.
