28,000 people in Western Georgia still suffer from power cut

Some 28,000 people in Western Georgia are still suffering from a power cut, Trend reports.

Heavy snow in the region caused a power cut for some 60,000 consumers on Sunday morning. The heaviest snowfall was registered in the Tsalenjinkh District, with snow reaching a 1-meter layer.

Restoration of power is complicated by bad weather, and the consumers are being switched to an alternate power line.
