Kiev has hosted a meeting of the Ukrainian public organization the “Diaspora of Chechen People”, Islam in the CIS reports.
Representatives of 15 Ukrainian regions arrived and discussed problems of the community. Spokesman of the organization, Salman Sadayev, said that such meetings allow development of mutual understanding between Chechens and Ukrainians.
Some of the main goals of the public organization are protection of the rights of compatriots, support of socially unprotected people and helping them with consultations and information.
