A suspected murderer of a school principal of the Sovetskoye Village in Dagestan, blocked by the police in Derbent, died in an attempt to run, Interfax reports.
The suspect tried to escape over roofs of nearby buildings, but died falling of a six-storey building. The counter-terrorism regime remains in force.
Sadikullah Ahmedov, a school principal aged 59, was killed at the Sovetskoye Village on July 9, 2011. He was shot at the yard of his house, witnessed by his wife and son. The murder provoked a public outrage since the principal was notorious for combating radical religion at schools.
