About 17,000 people have been cut off from the power supply in Novorossiysk and Anapa due to heavy winds, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier reports said about 2,000 people were without power. The Mayor’s Office of Novorossiysk said 8,000 were cut.
According to information at 12 pm on Tuesday, 17,000 people were without electricity. The Gostagayevskaya, Ranevskaya and Anapskaya Villages had power cuts.
Wind speed reached 30-35 m/s.
About 250,000 people had a power cut in the Krasnodar Territory on January 27. Power was restored the next day. Mass power cuts happened in Anapa and Novorossiysk on January 18, about 18,000 people were cut from electric supply. Power was restored in the evening.
