The military have organized kitchens and water supplies for Novorossiysk, a city suffering from a power cut caused by poor weather conditions, Yuga.ru reports.
Specialists have been restoring power lines 24/7. Wind reaching a speed of 45 m/sec was registered in Anapa, Temruk, Gelendzhik, Slavyansk-on-Kuban and Novorossiysk on February 7.
Some 150,000 people were left without electricity in Novorossiysk, Temruk and Slavyansk Districts at midnight. Power was restored in the morning. Some 3,000 people in Novorossiysk and 4,500 on its outskirts still have no electricity. Over 30 mobile kitchens were brought by the military to Novorossiysk.
