Traffic at the Krestovy Mountain Pass of Georgia has been closed due to high risk of avalanche, News Georgia reports.
The central highway connecting the eastern and western part of Georgia has seen no traffic restrictions. Traffic limitations were set in the Gombori Mountain Pass, in direction of Kakheti (Eastern Georgia) and Nakerala (Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region, Western Georgia). Vehicles with trailers and half-trailers were restricted.
Heavy snow in Tbilisi started on Tuesday night and continues today. It caused traffic problems all around Tbilisi.
