Georgian citizenship can be obtained via internet

The Georgian civil registry department of the Justice Ministry has
introduced a new on-line application system for citizenship. Documents
can be processed from other countries, Georgia Online reports.
Anyone who applies for Georgian citizenship from now on can do so via
the internet. The applicant must fill in an on-line form, and send a
scanned copy of the required documents. After this the applicant
should print the application, sign it, and mail it to the department.
The on-line application can be found on the Agency's web-page - www.cra.gov.ge
The cost of the naturalization procedures is 200 lari ($108). Some 11
persons have already applied via the on-line service, 8 of whom have
received Georgian citizenship.
