A state of emergency was imposed in Sochi due to high avalanche risks today, ITAR-TASS reports.
High risk of avalanches was registered at the Adler-Krasnaya Polyana and Krasnaya Polyana-Pslukh roads.
Rescuers expect cuts of power lines, blocked roads, bridges, tunnels, traffic problems and an increased number of traffic accidents.
