Rasul Mirzayev, a Mixed Fighting Champion who killed a student with a single punch, has been released by a court, Gazeta.ru reports.
Judge Yulia Novichkova ordered Mirzayev to pay 100,000 rubles.
According to investigation, Murzayev had a conflict with a student Ivan Agafonov at the Garazh Club on the night of August 15. The conflict resulted in Mirzayev’s hitting the student. Agafonov injured his head when falling on the ground and died with a closed skull fracture at a hospital three days later.
