Rasul Mirzayev, the World Champion in Mixed Fighting, who is facing trial for murder, is now accused of inflicting death by negligence (up to 2 years of prison), RIA Novosti reports.
The conflict happened at the Garazh night club in Moscow in mid-August 2011. Rasul Mirzayev hit 19-year old Ivan Agafonov, resulting in the man dying in hospital a few days later. The lawyers demanded reconsideration of the accusations, because Agafonov received grave injuries when hitting the pavement.
Earlier accusations stated that Mirzayev caused grave injuries causing death (up to 15 years of prison).
