The water level of the River Kura in the Salyan and Neftchala Districts of Azerbaijan keeps rising, as stated by Akber Hasanov, Director of the Neftchala Specialized Hydrometeorological Enterprise, APA reports.
The water level has increased by 75 cm at Salyan since February 1 and by 35 cm at Neftchala. Such high water levels were caused by melting snow. 500 cubic meters of water per second flow through the river.
Hasanov expects the level to rise by 1-1.2 meters more.
