Police have caught six gang members suspected of organizing a blast in Pyatigorsk in 2010, injuring 40 people, and suspected of planning an attack in Stavropol, RIA Novosti reports.
The blast in Pyatigorsk happened on August 17, 2010, when a car went off at a café on Kirov Avenue. A bomb was found with a dead man in a vehicle at the Gloria Café in Stavropol on September 30.
The gang consisted of Rafael Ismailov, Islamkhan Abdurakhmanov, Temirlan Gajiyev, Aslan Otepov, Anvarbek Managaziyev and Eldar Kaybaliyev. Otepov has admitted guilt on February 29 and got sentenced to 16 years of prison.
