The fire at the Adler substation (110KW) in Sochi has been put out and specialists are studying the causes of the blaze, spokesman of Kubanenergy Yevgeny Demchenko said, RIA Novosti reports.
The fire started on Monday at 11.29 am. 15,000 people experienced a power cut.
Alexander Tkachyov, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, said on Twitter on Monday that the situation is under control.
