Rescuers have found snowboarder who went missing at a skiing resort in Sochi, RIA Novosti cites Rimma Perminova, deputy head of the section for information and analysis of the Southern Regional Rescue Group of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, as saying.
The snowboarder, born in 1989, arrived in Sochi to Moscow. His friend said that he was missing since Monday. Searches were organized at the Gornaya Karusel District at an altitude of 960 meters above the sea level.
8 rescuers of the Southern Regional Rescue Group and 2 of the Kuban-SPAS organization are searching for the snowboarder. 3 more rescuers of the Southern Regional Rescue Group and a helicopter were mobilized to assist them in the searches.
