The investigation into US singer Whitney Houston’s death was stopped this Friday - she drowned in her bath because of heart attack caused by cocaine, RIA Novosti reports.
Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on February 12.
Investigator Craig Harvey said that they found medicaments that caused her death. Her body contained cocaine she was taking for a long time.
The police believe that the dealer selling her cocaine took all drugs from her room before officers arrived.
Houston entered the Guinness Book of Records as a singer with most awards. She started her carrier when she was 11, singing at the New Hope Church in Newark. Whitney Houston received six Grammy Awards, 15 Billboard Music Awards, 21 American Music Awards, two Ammy Awards and numerous others.
