Militants aren't responsible for attack on Chechoyev - Ingush leader

The head of the Ingush Republic, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, says militants are not responsible for Alikhan Chechoyev's murder, RIA Novosti reports.

He also criticized the republic's law-enforcement agencies, saying the police seem to be unable to prevent crimes.

Alikhan Chechoyev, the head of the Ingush Social Insurance Fund, was attacked recently in the Ingush capital of Nazran.
