A monument to the famous Russian musician and public figure Mstislav Rostropovich was unveiled in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
The monument was placed near Rostropovich's former apartment in the center of Moscow.
The event was timed to mark the 85th anniversary of the musician's birth.
