The Russian Ministry for Regional Development said that the lowest prices for renovation are in Karachay-Cherkessia, the highest are in Moscow, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
The order on renovation prices per square meter of housing was passed in 2012 to calculate the aid needed for families without breadwinners.
Such families have the right for renovation once in a decade. The government will cover the costs.
Renovation prices have increased. 13,600 rubles were needed per square meter in Moscow in 2011 and 14,600 today. The price in St. Petersburg was 9,800 in 2011 and 10,500 today.
The lowest prices can be found in Karachay-Cherkessia and Ingushetia - about 4,600 rubles, Tyva - 4.800 rubles and Dagestan - 4,900 rubles.
