Police have identified three militants killed in the Kadyrkent Village of the Sergokalinsky District of Dagestan on April 2, RIA Dagestan reports.
According to the latest data, they were part of a group under command of Turkish mercenary Muhannend, also known as Abdusalam. They were involved in terrorism and murders of civilians and police officers.
The militants were identified as Rashid Gazaliyev, (Kazakhstan, 1970), nicknamed Muaz, Magomed Gazaliyev (1971), his cousin, and Gusen Magomedov (Krasnoarmeysk Village, Makhachkala) aged 32, nicknamed Terminator.
R. Gazaliyev joined the group in 2009. He took part in blowing up the TV and mobile communication tower on May 13, 2010. They killed 8 people and injured 4 trying to fix the facility. G. Magomedov was on the federal wanted list for murder and illegal trafficking of weapons.
The police found an RPK machine-gun, four submachine guns, six grenades, ammo clips, outfits. No police casualties were registered in the operation.
