New theory on ATR-72 crash at Tyumen announced

 

The most likely reason for the crash of ATR-72 at Tyumen is that it did not undergo defrost treatment, spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said, RIA Novosti reports.

An ATR-72-200 belonging to UTair flying from Tyumen to Surgut crashed when taking off on April 2. According to preliminary information, there were 43 people on board, including 39 passengers and 4 crew members. 31 people died and 12 were injured.
