Israeli journalist to hold master class in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan will see seminars on advanced training of local journalists on April 9-13. Two-day master classes in Baku and Ganja will be held by Alexander Goldenstein, co-founder and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IzRus.

He arrived in Baku on April 8, invited by the Israeli Embassy and the IREX organization, under the auspices of the US State Department and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Israeli Ambassador to Baku Michael Lotem will open the seminars with about 25 journalists attending. Training will concern operation of network media, economic management of editors’ offices, professional aspects, tests, methods of presentation of information.

Goldenstein will have lectures at one of the leading Azerbaijani higher education centers.

Alexander Goldenstein is a well-known journalist in Israel, specialized in interstate relations of Israel and South Caucasus. Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia post his interviews. Russian and Turkish media often cite IzRus.
