The World Health Organization has published the rating of suicides. Georgia has the highest suicide rate in South Caucasus, with about 8.8 suicides per 100,000 people, ANSPRESS reports.
Armenia has 3.9, Azerbaijan 1.3.
Concerning the rating as a whole, the top position is taken by Lithuania (71.7), followed by Russia (64.3) and Belarus (57.5). The lowest suicide rates are in Iran, Haiti, Jamaica and South Africa.
