Charles Aznavour, a French singer and composer of Armenian origin, held a press conference in New York. He will mark his 88th anniversary in May. The author of over 1000 songs, starring in 60 films, will give 3 concerts at the City Center in New York, RIA Novosti reports.
Aznavour considers himself French, but he admitted that he aids Armenia. The singer has become an honorary ambassador of Armenia to UNESCO.
The famous composer said that he wants to visit Red Square in Moscow, the Acropolis in Greece and the Pyramids in Egypt.
