The police have no reasons to jail Gagik Sarkisyan, a businessman from Tula who suspectedly killed three people when defending his home, spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said, RIA Novosti reports.
Investigation says that Sarkisyan is now a victim in the case.
Four armed burglars broke into Gagik Sarkisyan’s house in Bogoroditsk on Saturday. His wife, a grown up daughter and four young children, with the youngest aged about 1, were at home at the moment. The burglars beat the family up, but Sarkisyan took a kitchen knife and killed three of the four assailants. The fourth one managed to escape. The businessman was hospitalized, his family received medical aid.
Some reports said that Sarkisyan exceeded the self-defense need.
