A special operation organized in North Ossetia – Alania resulted in the arrest of arms dealers on April 11-12, RIA Novosti reports.
The arms dealers were part of a group trading weapons, ammo and explosives. Six people were arrested. Their hideout in the Sunzha Village of the Prigorodny District had a facility producing bombs. The police confiscated bomb components and chemicals, the National Counter-Terrorism Committee reports.
The police found two short sniper rifles, a machine gun, 15 submachine guns, over 2 kg of explosives and over 250 bullets.
