In 2011 the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, deputy prime minister Alexander Khloponin, had 484 million roubles income. According to his secretary Natalya Platonova, the official earned so much because he sold his share in the Norilsky Nickel company.
Khloponin's almost 1 billion roubles income is the greatest among all members of the cabinet.
