A Turkish court has sustained the claim of a fund of the St. Nikogos Armenian church against the Mayor of Istanbul. The plaintiff demanded the return of a piece of land with a territory of 37,500 square meters, News.am reports, referring to the Turkish newspaper «Sabah».
The Chairman of the Armenian church fund, Varuzhan Maghakyan, said the church has been waiting for years for the court decision on this issue.
