A new blast hit the capital of Dagestan on Sunday, injuring one person, RIA Novosti cites the republic's Interior Ministry as saying.
“A VAZ car blew up in Akushinskogo Avenue in Makhachkala. According to preliminary information, a young man who drove the car was taken to hospital. His identity is being established. Experts say the explosive was attached to the bottom of the car,” the ministry said.
The explosion comes just three days after two powerful blasts rocked the Dagestani capital on Thursday evening, killing 13 and injuring over 100 people.
