Another earthquake happened in the Zagatalsky District of Azerbaijan today, Minister for Emergencies Kyamaleddin Heydarov said, Trend reports.
20 million manats were issued to help children.
The earthquake destroyed and damaged 3,000 buildings, 124 social facilities. No people were killed or gravely injured.
The Zagatalsky District is located in the north-western part of Azerbaijan 430 km from Baku. The earthquake happened at 6.34 am, followed by another earthquake. It had a magnitude of 4 points at the center 13 km south of Zagatala.
The district center experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5, the outskirts had 2-2.5.
Vestnik Kavkaza reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 points happened in Zagatala on May 7 at 9.40 am. 8 more earthquakes were registered.
