Turkey detains two over Syria 'espionage'

Two Turkish nationals have been detained in Hatay in Turkey for spying for Syria, Trend reports.

The spies attempted to kidnap a leader of Syrian opposition Riyad al-Assad.

Numerous Syrian refugees and opposition members stay in Turkey. They exceed 30,000.

The disorders in Syria have been ongoing for over a year. The UN says that over 10,000 people have died. Syrian authorities say that over 2,000 police officers and troops have died in clashes with well-armed militants.
