Statisticians of Azerbaijan and Russia plan to renew cooperation agreement

A protocol has been signed as a result of negotiations held in Baku by heads of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan and the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, Arif Veliyev, and the head of the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia, Alexander Surinov. Participants in the meeting discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and the future of its development.


The sides expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation in the publication of statistical data, as well as exchange of statistical methodology and data.


Both parties also expressed their desire to prolong already-existing agreements.
