Russia 24 has shown a film about Baku, describing the famous sites of Baku, including the Maiden Tower, Icheri Sheher Fortress (part of the UNESCO World Heritage), Temple of Fire and Bibi Eybat Moscow.
The film demonstrates the Museum of Modern Art, Russian Drama Theater, new complex of the Diplomatic Academy that used alternate energy sources. Head of the academy Hafiz Pashayev commented on the film.
The author of the film said that construction of Baku Crystal Hall solved the ecological problem caused by the old military base and gave a well-matching modern complex. The author added that the White City project is a counterbalance for the Black City of the late 19th – early 20th centuries.
