Traffic police head of Adygea on leave in connection with investigation of son's accident

The head of the Traffic Police of Adygea, Aliy Chinazirov, has taken exceptional leave in order to avoid
accusations of possible involvement in the investigation of an
accident involving his son, Interfax reports.

Chinazirov expressed confidence that a comprehensive and objective
investigation will take place and its results will be shown to the
public.

The traffic accident occurred on May 7 in the town of Maikop and
aroused great public interest.
