500-kg air bomb found in Chechnya

On May 28 a high-explosive bomb weighing five hundred kilograms was
diffused in Chechnya, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

The explosive object was discovered by local residents near the road
connecting the towns of Hoi and Kharachoi in the Vedeno district. The
bomb has been lying in the ground for at least ten years.

The bomb was transported to a safe distance and neutralized.
