Personal conflicts caused murders at Kazakhstan’s Arkankergen Border Post

Vladislav Chelakh, the only survivor of the Arkankergen Border Post, admitted that he killed 14 of his comrades, spokesman of the Kazakh Prosecutor General’s Office Nurdaulet Suindikov said, News Kazakhstan reports.

The border post in the Alma Ata region had a fire on May 30. 14 troops and a local forester were found dead.

Kazakh Interior Minister Kalmukhanbet Kasymov said on Tuesday that Chelakh returned with his commander’s pistol. Unofficial information said on Wednesday that Chelakh had admitted the murder of border guards.
