About 88,815 (96.54 percent) of the 92,002 graduates in Azerbaijan
took part in the finals. About 74,832 people passed the exams
successfully, Education Minister Misir Mardanov said at a press
conference on Tuesday, Trend reports.
The figures for this year are approximately 10 percent above those of
the previous year. About 23,037 (99.20 percent) of 23,222 graduates
took part in examinations conducted in schools and universities, of
whom about 21,441 passed successfully.
The minister noted that some innovations are expected to be
implemented in the education system in the near future, including
professional schools.
