The resort town of Anapa is seeking to become "a city without
exhaust fumes" and is promoting cycling in the city, the mayor of the
resort town Tatiana Yevsikova said. "Many hotels offer free bicycles
to their guests. It has become our "thing", because Anapa is a healthy
town," Yevsikova said.
The mayor of the city, an avid cyclist herself, said that there are
bike paths along the waterfront, 12 kilometers long. In the near
future separate lanes for children on bicycles will be built, Yuga.ru
reports.
"The city should have as little exhaust emissions as possible. That is
why we have paid great attention to our transport. From this year, by
the way, we have banned the use of Gazelle cars on the territory
of Anapa," Yevsikova noted.
