Young judo wrestlers of North Ossetia in car accident

A young judo team from North Ossetia were involved in a car accident at the 168th km of the Kavkaz Federal Highway at 3.20 am on June 12.


The children of judo school N1 of Oktyabrskoye Village were born in 1999 and 2000. They were returning home to Vladikavkaz from competitions in Armavir.


The driver of the vehicle they crashed into died. 10 children, their coach and driver were hospitalized, four of them in grave condition, RIA Novosti reports.


Life News says that the driver of the other car did not let the children's bus pass at the road crossing.


Osradio.ru reports that a group of North Ossetian psychologists and officials of the Ministry for Healthcare was on its way to Krasnodar Territory to help the children. A hotline was organized (8-867-2)-39-99-99.
