The police of Moscow have enforced security at Pushkin Square for the March of Millions, a mass protest of the opposition, Interfax reports.
The march started at Strastnoy Boulevard. Several dozen police buses and ambulance vehicles arrived.
Traffic has been blocked at Strastnoy Boulevard and Bolshaya Bronnaya Street. A few hundred protesters gathered at Pushkin Square. Participants in the protests hold white symbols. Members of A Fair Russia, Left Front and nationalistic organizations have joined with the protestors. The police plan to start allowing them in at 12 pm.
