The territories for construction of housing for the villagers of
submerged zones in Azerbaijan have been chosen, Trend reports, citing
Azerbaijani Minister of Emergencies Kamaleddin Heydarov.
Each family will be provided with 1200 square metres of land.
The zone of flooding of the Kura river was visited by a governmental
commission in the Sabirabad region. It was participated in by
Azerbaijani Vice-Premier Abid Sharifov, ministers of interior affairs
(Ramil Usubov), ecology and natural resources (Huseyngulu Bagirov) and
the head of the 'Melioration and Water Economy' company (Ahmed
Ahmedzade).
