Almost 50 thousand people left without electricity in Chechnya

About 47 thousand people have been left in Chechnya without electricity, RIA

Novosti reports, referring to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"There is no electricity supply in the Nozhai-Yurt district, presumably because

of a cable break; as a result 46.7 thousand people are left without electricity;

no casualties are reported," the release says.

Last weekend due to severe weather conditions 100 thousand were left

without electricity, but the problem was resolved by Sunday evening.

All important social facilities receive electricity from reserve

sources.
