Train “Armenia” brings first passengers from Yerevan to Batumi this year

The train “Armenia”, the first of this year, has travelled from Yerevan to Batumi. There are about 80 people on board, NEWS.am reports.The main innovation of this year is the launching of online tickets. Now everybody can buy a ticket on the Internet.As the General Director of South Caucasian railways Marat Khakov noted, this year the trip takes only 16 hours, although several years ago it was almost 20.The train runs from June to September.
